Gualter Peres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Bezerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Francisco Vergílio's late challenge caught a Guarimanzal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Francisco Vergílio helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Salitre SS getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. João Francisco Vergílio hit a great ball. Ronaldão Puyol's late challenge caught a Salitre SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ronaldão Puyol helped the player get up and apologised. Gustavo Dias didn't quite understand what happened when in the 13 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Arí Lucas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Glauco Britto in the 15th minute of play. Fausto Cardozo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Gualter Peres made a huge save. Rafael Bezerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Gualter Peres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 23 played minutes Salitre SS got a freekick which was hit by Percival Simão. After 24 played minutes Rafael Bezerra rounded Salitre SS's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Rafael Bezerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualter Peres having to interfere. Fausto Cardozo might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gualter Peres. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fausto Cardozo ran back to his position shaking his head. Rafael Bezerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Gualter Peres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Glauco Britto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Kauã Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Guarimanzal fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 43rd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Salitre SS a penalty, 45 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gustavo Dias, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Guarimanzal's Arí Lucas. 1-1. A collision led to Guarimanzal getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Dadá Andrade hit a great ball. After 49 played minutes, Salitre SS's Gustavo Dias shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arí Lucas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Salitre SS reached it. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kauã Senna stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Zé Carlos Mendonça, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 54 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Arí Lucas was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 57th minute, Fausto Cardozo made a precise shot to the right of Gualter Peres. Salitre SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Rafael Bezerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Gualter Peres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gualter Peres stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fausto Cardozo's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. A collision led to Guarimanzal getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Samuel Domingues hit a great ball. Sílvio Vidal charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sílvio Vidal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 69th minute, Sílvio Vidal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guarimanzal's Samuel Domingues was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gualter Peres in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Fausto Cardozo scored 3-1 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gualter Peres, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fausto Cardozo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abel Marques charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abel Marques the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 80th minute, Abel Marques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Fausto Cardozo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guarimanzal's supporters rose to their feet, but Fausto Cardozo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gualter Peres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gualter Peres came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Guarimanzal's Rafael Bezerra. But to his dismay, Rafael Bezerra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Dadá Andrade charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dadá Andrade the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Guarimanzal's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
