If Flavinho Breckenfeld had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Pedrinho Araújo came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Arandu Taxi Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedrinho Araújo couldn't finish the play. Flavinho Breckenfeld blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dalmo Rezende having to make a save. Dalmo Rezende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filiberto Truylos in the 48th minute of play. The Arandu Taxi Clube players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tipucu were winning 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Filiberto Truylos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
