To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 25 minutes into the match, Tacare's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Quintal came free, but Sandrinho Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sandrinho Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualter de Medeiros, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Rafinha Linares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. After some careless play in the Inter Florida E.C defense, Rafinha Linares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aírton Prata. The Inter Florida E.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aírton Prata should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Inter Florida E.C getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Inter Florida E.C's Aírton Prata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Pedro Dantas in the 87th minute of play. Wesley Zanette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aírton Prata having to interfere. During the 95th minute of the match Cícero da Fonseca completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Cícero da Fonseca a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Tacare getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Cícero da Fonseca hit a great ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Inter Florida E.C players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tacare.
