Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Aleandro Proença kicked off to start the match. 5 minutes into the match, Augusto Galvão notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Apuiares's Henrique Fontes. Henrique Fontes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Henrique Fontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Carioca in the 9th minute of play. Apuiares's Henrique Fontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Galvão in the 11th minute of play. Alfredo Costa charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfredo Costa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Alagoas AD getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Alfredo Costa hit a great ball. Henrique Fontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Carioca in the 18th minute of the match. A collision led to Apuiares getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Evandro de Godoy hit a great ball. In the 21st minute of the match Alfredo Costa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Henrique Fontes skillfully saved the ball. In the 22nd minute, Aleandro Proença fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Delfim Santos, passed just outside the right post. Augusto Galvão might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Henrique Fontes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Augusto Galvão ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpected shot in the 38th minute by Aleandro Proença got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Galvão in the 47th minute of play forced Apuiares's goalkeeper Henrique Fontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Augusto Galvão to make the kick off. After 52nd play minutes Augusto Galvão shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Henrique Fontes and just under the crossbar into goal. Mauro Carioca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Henrique Fontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Augusto Galvão kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Henrique Fontes. That made the score 0-3 in the 61 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mauro Carioca got free with Henrique Fontes in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Henrique Fontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Galvão in the 68th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Mauro Carioca sped through Apuiares's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Henrique Fontes. Mauro Carioca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrique Fontes having to interfere. Mauro Carioca in the 83rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Henrique Fontes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luís Trigo during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Apuiares getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Luís Trigo hit a great ball. In the 85th minute of the match, Augusto Galvão tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Henrique Fontes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mauro Carioca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Henrique Fontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Apuiares's Henrique Fontes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Apuiares from getting a goal against them. When Alagoas AD's Antônio Carlos Pontes in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Apuiares's goalie prevented a goal. Mauro Cariocas short, quick shot in the 97thth minute got Henrique Fontes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Alagoas AD had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
