Delfim Santos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Joel Ihintza might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Delfim Santos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joel Ihintza ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to MeninoMeuFC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Felippe da Rocha hit a great ball. Mauro Carioca came free with the goalkeeper in the 18th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marcinho Trevisan could save by the left post. MeninoMeuFC's Marcinho Trevisan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Galvão in the 20th minute of play. Joel Ihintza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cafu Capixaba hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Ihintza in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Delfim Santos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joel Ihintza in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Delfim Santos saved Alagoas AD from getting behind. Marcinho Trevisan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dieguinho Viana in the 35th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, MeninoMeuFC's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Galvão came free, but Marcinho Trevisan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcinho Trevisan made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Mauro Carioca sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot by Vitório Fernandez from long distance, 44 minutes into the match, got Marcinho Trevisan's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 46 minutes, Joel Ihintza made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Alagoas AD's Delfim Santos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Augusto Galvão made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antônio Carlos Pontes in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. Delfim Santos didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when MeninoMeuFC's Joel Ihintza shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-4 in the ordered_time% minute. When Joel Ihintza came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the MeninoMeuFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Ihintza couldn't finish the play. When Afonsinho Mineiro fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alagoas AD's protests and gave Afonsinho Mineiro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 62nd minute, Afonsinho Mineiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mauro Carioca's late challenge caught a MeninoMeuFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mauro Carioca helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Alagoas AD getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Mauro Carioca hit a great ball. Joel Ihintza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Delfim Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Afonsinho Mineiro hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After 70 minutes, Dieguinho Viana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alagoas AD and the MeninoMeuFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dieguinho Viana kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. The supporters of MeninoMeuFC booed when Alagoas AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antônio Carlos Pontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Alagoas AD players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
