Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when David Alegren got the match started through his kick off. Rui Trigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Kléberson Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When David Alegren came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Galicia EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Alegren couldn't finish the play. In the 8th minute, Galicia EC's Rui Trigo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kléberson Castro. Kléberson Castro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Kléberson Castro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Alegren in the 16th minute of play. Valdomiro Zonta hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute, David Alegren made a precise shot to the right of Kléberson Castro. Sapesal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After 29 played minutes Sapesal got a freekick which was hit by Henrique Monteiro. David Alegren took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kléberson Castro. Sapesal's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sapesal's Kléberson Castro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Sapesal from getting a goal against them. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Valdomiro Zonta sped through Galicia EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gencho Karaganev. Dudu Negri made in the 43rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Severino Santana immediately put the ball in play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valdomiro Zonta was the one to do the kick off. David Alegren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kléberson Castro having to make a save. After 61 played minutes Sapesal got a freekick which was hit by Jorge França. After having played for 70 minutes, Rui Trigo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galicia EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rui Trigo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. David Alegren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 76 minutes into the match, Sapesal's goal looked a bit too open when David Alegren came free, but Kléberson Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gencho Karaganev made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Valdomiro Zonta sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Galicia EC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Ademar Pernambucano hit a great ball. Gencho Karaganev made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Valdomiro Zonta sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, Sapesal's Gencho Karaganev threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Valdomiro Zonta, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Sapesal's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
