After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Rui Trigo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galicia EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rui Trigo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raphael de Queirós breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Emerson Ferreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emerson Ferreira struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Raphael de Queirós didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galicia EC. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Totora FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. David Alegren was slow to take the kick. During this time Galicia EC's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Alegren in the 42nd minute of play forced Totora FC's goalkeeper Raphael de Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sérgio Carneiro to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Giovani da Silveira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Totora FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Frédson Arruda hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the match, Galicia EC's goal looked a bit too open when Giovani da Silveira came free, but Gencho Karaganev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Giovani da Silveira scored 1-1 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gencho Karaganev, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Raphael de Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Trigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes in the game, David Alegren fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Raphael de Queirós having to interfere. Galicia EC's David Alegren got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Alegren got free with Raphael de Queirós in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Despite being the better team, Galicia EC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
