Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Legião AlSufid's Rômulo Tinoco started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Legião AlSufid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Percival de Sousa to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Adalberto Campidelis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marova's supporters rose to their feet, but Adalberto Campidelis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Júlio Berger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aloísio Correia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rômulo Tinoco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aloísio Correia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emanuel Vale in the 7th minute. Emanuel Vale received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aloísio Correia came out and tried to block the shot, but Emanuel Vale slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 11th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rômulo Tinoco in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aloísio Correia saved Marova from getting behind. Emanuel Vale could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Aloísio Correia made a huge save. Aloísio Correia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rômulo Tinoco in the 45th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuel Vale got free with Aloísio Correia in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adalberto Campidelis made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Emanuel Vale ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aloísio Correia was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Marova's Aloísio Correia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Vale in the 66th minute of play. Aloísio Correia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emanuel Vale's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Rômulo Tinoco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Aloísio Correia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Marova defense, Emanuel Vale kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aloísio Correia. The Marova fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aloísio Correia should have stopped the shot. Rômulo Tinoco might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aloísio Correia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rômulo Tinoco ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 78th match minute, Marova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oswaldo Linhares to maneuver through the defense. In the 80thth minute of the game Rômulo Tinoco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marova's Aloísio Correia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Legião AlSufid booed when Marova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doni Catarinense didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Emanuel Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 85 minutes, Oswaldo Linhares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marova and the Legião AlSufid players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 85 played minutes Marova got a freekick which was hit by Oswaldo Linhares. After 88 played minutes Legião AlSufid got a freekick which was hit by Serafim Quirino. In the 96th minute Emanuel Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aloísio Correia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Legião AlSufid walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
