João Augusto Braga's late challenge caught a Toheroa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Augusto Braga helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Toheroa booed when KarkaraCaucaiense City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Augusto Braga didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7thth minute of the game João Augusto Braga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Toheroa's Dito Vinhas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 0-1 when João Augusto Braga sped through Toheroa's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dito Vinhas. If Joélson Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Felipe Nogueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aírton Bertassi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Tiaguinho Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 0-2 when João Augusto Braga sped through Toheroa's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dito Vinhas. 34 minutes in the game, Felipe Nogueira fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Tiaguinho Cunha having to interfere. Dito Vinhas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Guilherme Freire, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the match, KarkaraCaucaiense City's goalkeeper Tiaguinho Cunha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marquinhos Negri. If Felipe Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Toheroa players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. KarkaraCaucaiense City were winning 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and João Augusto Braga made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as KarkaraCaucaiense City's João Augusto Braga slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dito Vinhas. That made the score 0-4 after 52 minutes of play. Toheroa's Dito Vinhas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Augusto Braga in the 59th minute of play. KarkaraCaucaiense City's João Augusto Braga got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Augusto Braga in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dito Vinhas saved Toheroa from getting behind. With a little luck, Toheroa's Dito Vinhas got control of the ball when Luiz Guilherme Freire tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Luiz Guilherme Freire came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the KarkaraCaucaiense City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Guilherme Freire couldn't finish the play. The KarkaraCaucaiense City players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
