Inácio Capixaba's late challenge caught a Itapecoa AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Inácio Capixaba helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Itapecoa AD booed when CCDCFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inácio Capixaba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raúl de Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Zanette having to interfere. Nicolas Zanette showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amílton Romero, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Válbson Machado kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Raúl de Sousa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicolas Zanette took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raúl de Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tadeu Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raúl de Sousa in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicolas Zanette saved Itapecoa AD from getting behind. In the 27th match minute, Itapecoa AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Válbson Koehler to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute Alex Nunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Zanette saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Amílton Romero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicolas Zanette. Itapecoa AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amílton Romero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. If Raúl de Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Amílton Romero managed to get in a good position for a shot. CCDCFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Amílton Romero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicolas Zanette breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Itapecoa AD's goalkeeper Nicolas Zanette, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 40 minutes, Alex Nunes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CCDCFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Nunes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Tadeu Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeu Costa in the 44th minute of play forced Itapecoa AD's goalkeeper Nicolas Zanette to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Itapecoa AD getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Benedito da Silva hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Válbson Machado was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Kiko de Brito cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Wilton Gaúcho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 57 minutes into the match, Itapecoa AD's goal looked a bit too open when Amílton Romero came free, but Nicolas Zanette reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicolas Zanette took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amílton Romero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicolas Zanette didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raúl de Sousa went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Amílton Romero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raúl de Sousa might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicolas Zanette. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raúl de Sousa ran back to his position shaking his head. If Raúl de Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 86th minute, Inácio Capixaba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute of the match Ernesto Martins shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wilton Gaúcho showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 89 minutes into the match, CCDCFC's goal looked a bit too open when Válbson Machado came free, but Wilton Gaúcho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amílton Romero struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Nicolas Zanette didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CCDCFC. CCDCFC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Itapecoa AD to leave the ground with a draw.
