Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Itajara's goalkeeper Donatello Alagoano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Donatello Alagoano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Breno de Sousa in the 11th minute of the match. Donatello Alagoano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Breno de Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gonçalo Meirelles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Vianna in the 22nd minute of the match. If Luciano Nóbrega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Breno de Sousa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Donatello Alagoano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Isaltino Saldanha charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isaltino Saldanha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 27 played minutes Itajara got a freekick which was hit by Isaltino Saldanha. Luciano Nóbrega struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Donatello Alagoano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marasco. Donatello Alagoano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luciano Nóbrega's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. In the 36th minute Luciano Nóbrega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donatello Alagoano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Itajara's Antônio Machado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gonçalo Meirelles narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Antônio Machado made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Marco Vianna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Itajara's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marasco the free kick. 52 minutes into the match, Luciano Nóbrega dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Donatello Alagoano, 0-1. In the 55th minute Marco Vianna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonçalo Meirelles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benedito das Neves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 64 minutes into the game, Itajara's Marco Vianna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gonçalo Meirelles made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. When Itajara's Antônio Machado in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Marasco's goalie prevented a goal. Antônio Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Breno de Sousa might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Donatello Alagoano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Breno de Sousa ran back to his position shaking his head. Gonçalo Meirelles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Vianna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luciano Nóbrega received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Donatello Alagoano came out and tried to block the shot, but Luciano Nóbrega slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 83rd minute. Antônio Machado might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gonçalo Meirelles. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Antônio Machado ran back to his position shaking his head. Luciano Nóbrega hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Marasco's Gonçalo Meirelles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Vianna in the 91st minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Marasco left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Itajara.
