Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Fabiano da Silveira made the kick off and thus started the match. The supporters of Icatu SC booed when Boquim SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albertino Leite didn't get a good kick on the ball. 4 minutes into the match, Boquim SC's goalkeeper Dedê Dias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armando Trancoso. Fabiano da Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Dedê Dias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Boquim SC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Fabiano da Silveira scored to the left of an out of position Dedê Dias, making the score, 1-0. In the 17th match minute, Icatu SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nelsinho Vinhas to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute Fabiano da Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dedê Dias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Fabiano da Silveira reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dedê Dias. The goal made the score 2-0. Víktor Ortiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enéas Figueiredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Icatu SC's Víktor Ortiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kléber Arruda in the 29th minute of play. Fabiano da Silveira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dedê Dias having to make a save. 35 minutes into the match, Icatu SC's Chico Cardoso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dedê Dias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fabiano da Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Dedê Dias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute Almir Mineiro suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 40 played minutes Icatu SC got a freekick which was hit by Amílton Teles. Dedê Dias made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Chico Cardoso sent off a good shot on target. Enéas Figueiredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Víktor Ortiz having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Enéas Figueiredo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Fabiano da Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Icatu SC's Fabrício Soeiro suffered a sore thigh after 53 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felipe Pitta during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Icatu SC booed when Boquim SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Pitta didn't get a good kick on the ball. 57 minutes into the game, Cesinha Sampaio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Boquim SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Icatu SC the free kick. Armando Trancoso, 58 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Chico Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Boquim SC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Cesinha Sampaio hit a great ball. Chico Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute, Chico Cardoso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dedê Dias was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. 72 minutes into the match, Boquim SC's goal looked a bit too open when Chico Cardoso came free, but Dedê Dias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chico Cardoso might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dedê Dias. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Chico Cardoso ran back to his position shaking his head. Icatu SC's Amílton Teles got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Boquim SC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Paulão Barreto hit a great ball. If Chico Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute, Amílton Teles left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Icatu SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Chico Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dedê Dias having to interfere. Boquim SC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
