Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Canaa's Diogo Saldanha started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Canaa's zone, Christiano Freire stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Augusto Nóbrega came out of the goal and Christiano Freire tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cauã Monteiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Canaa booed when Firmamento was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Mendes didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Cauã Monteiro sped through Canaa's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of José Augusto Nóbrega. A collision led to Canaa getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Jonathan Velloso hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the match, Canaa's goal looked a bit too open when Cauã Monteiro came free, but José Augusto Nóbrega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute of the match, Jonathan Velloso got a very nice opportunity to score, but Clóvis Trevisan was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. José Augusto Nóbrega made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cauã Monteiro in the 26th minute of play. In the 34th match minute, Canaa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Augusto Fernandes to maneuver through the defense. After 35 minutes, Cauã Monteiro made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Canaa's José Augusto Nóbrega tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. José Augusto Nóbrega didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cauã Monteiro went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. After the first half Firmamento were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cauã Monteiro was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes, Cauã Monteiro made it 2-4 with a short kick to the right side. Canaa's José Augusto Nóbrega tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Firmamento's Cauã Monteiro in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Canaa's goalie prevented a goal. In the 61st minute, one of Canaa:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Canaa. The goalkeeper, José Augusto Nóbrega, was totally fooled by Firmamento's Wesley França, who 64 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Firmamento's Cauã Monteiro got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg José Augusto Nóbrega managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when Firmamento's Cauã Monteiro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 71st minute, Jonathan Velloso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Clóvis Trevisan was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-5. José Augusto Nóbrega was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cauã Monteiro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-6 in the 75 minute of play. Clóvis Trevisan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Velloso in the 81st minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Dário Cosme made a precise shot to the right of Clóvis Trevisan. Firmamento's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-6. 87 minutes into the match, Firmamento's Roberto Mangueira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Augusto Nóbrega narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonathan Velloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Clóvis Trevisan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cauã Monteiro in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Augusto Nóbrega prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
