Luan Sanches made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christiano Freire in the 13th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Firmamento's goal looked a bit too open when Emerson de Moraes came free, but Clóvis Trevisan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Firmamento's Clóvis Trevisan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murilo Santana in the 17th minute of play. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cauã Monteiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luan Sanches having to interfere. Clóvis Trevisan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emerson de Moraes in the 46th minute of the match. Firmamento's Clóvis Trevisan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egídio Perez in the 48th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emerson de Moraes to strike the kick off in the second half. Murilo Santana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Firmamento's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emerson de Moraes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. After 71 minutes, Anísio Dias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Firmamento and the Pensamento players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Pensamento booed when Firmamento was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anísio Dias didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cauã Monteiro in the 75th minute of play forced Pensamento's goalkeeper Luan Sanches to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Firmamento's goalkeeper Clóvis Trevisan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emerson de Moraes. Firmamento's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Emerson de Moraes scored to the left of an out of position Clóvis Trevisan, making the score, 2-4. After having played for 83 minutes, Roberto Mangueira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Firmamento's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roberto Mangueira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Pensamento getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Joaquim Baptista hit a great ball. 89 minutes into the match, Firmamento's Wesley França broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 92nd minute, Marcelinho Aparecido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
