Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Vito Munhoz made the kick off which started today's match. With a little luck, Iraja SC's Silvério Paraense got control of the ball when Dário Amaral tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 8th minute, Iraja SC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Dário Amaral fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Virgílio de Castro hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Iraja SC's Virgílio Urbano couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 16th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Real Pocotó City. When Vito Munhoz came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Real Pocotó City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vito Munhoz couldn't finish the play. Virgílio Urbano hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the match, Iraja SC's goalkeeper Silvério Paraense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dário Amaral. If Vito Munhoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 32 minutes, Kiko Vinhas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Iraja SC and the Real Pocotó City players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Iraja SC's Kiko Vinhas got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Vito Munhoz in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Silvério Paraense, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Vito Munhoz struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Silvério Paraense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Pocotó City. After a defensive mix-up in Iraja SC's zone, Vito Munhoz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvério Paraense came out of the goal and Vito Munhoz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Silvério Paraense was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Acácio Velloso. Oscar Pontes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfredinho Silveira having to make a save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oscar Pontes to make the kick off. In the 56thth minute of the game Vito Munhoz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Iraja SC's Silvério Paraense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Iraja SC's zone, Dário Amaral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvério Paraense came out of the goal and Dário Amaral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vito Munhoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvério Paraense having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vito Munhoz in the 71st minute of play forced Iraja SC's goalkeeper Silvério Paraense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute Dário Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvério Paraense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vito Munhoz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silvério Paraense having to make a save. After 79 minutes of play, Real Pocotó City's Vito Munhoz made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silvério Paraense was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 83rd minute, Iraja SC's Oscar Pontes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alfredinho Silveira. Alfredinho Silveira yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 89th minute Vito Munhoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvério Paraense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vito Munhoz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silvério Paraense having to make a save. 96 minutes into the game, Real Pocotó City's Vito Munhoz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silvério Paraense made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1.
