In the 10th minute, Paulão Berger left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jaraguá Fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 13 played minutes Jaraguá Fc got a freekick which was hit by Erasmo de Moraes. Luís Guilherme de Alcântara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulão Berger in the 16th minute of play. Willian Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Donato Arce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jaraguá Fc's Paulão Berger got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luizão Sousa made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Bernardo Fantini sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Donato Arce managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jaraguá Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Donato Arce was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Guilherme de Alcântara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 28th minute, Carlos da Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes into the match, Donato Arce notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Jardin SC's Luís Guilherme de Alcântara. Luís Guilherme de Alcântara was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Donato Arce in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luís Guilherme de Alcântara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 42nd minute of the game. One of Jaraguá Fc:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Jardin SC:s goal. When the match had been going on for 44 minutes, Jardin SC's Dino Brasil got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Luizão Sousa. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

With his leg Luís Guilherme de Alcântara managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Jaraguá Fc's Paulão Berger fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 55 minutes, Pedro Neiva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jardin SC and the Jaraguá Fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Jardin SC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Pedro Neiva hit a great ball. If Paulão Berger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jardin SC's Pedro Neiva got his second yellow card of the match in the 59th minute. The referee ordered Pedro Neiva off the ground. In the 60th minute, Pedro Neiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Donato Arce struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Luís Guilherme de Alcântara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jaraguá Fc. When Paulão Berger, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 64 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Luís Guilherme de Alcântara was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 69 minutes of play, Jaraguá Fc's Paulão Berger made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luís Guilherme de Alcântara was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 73rd match minute, Jardin SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adelino Faria to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Jaraguá Fc booed when Jardin SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adelino Faria didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match was over Jaraguá Fc could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Jardin SC throughout the match.
