Henrique Alvarenga ran back to his position shaking his head. Rafinha Munhoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Murillo do Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Squadra Borges Azzura's Murillo do Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Válbson Lopez in the 23rd minute of play. João Adolfo Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the game, Squadra Borges Azzura's Henrique Alvarenga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benjamim Severo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. When Rafinha Munhoz came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Manguaça fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafinha Munhoz couldn't finish the play. Squadra Borges Azzura were furious when Betão Antunes was red carded, 95 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Emmanuel Adebayo, 96 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Manguaça fully deserved thier win.
