Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Augusto Trancoso got the match started through his kick off. William Severo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Furlan in the 4th minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Laranjo's Róbson Neto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benjamim Severo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A hard shot 7 in the game by Felippe Cruz from a close distance when the talented Benjamim Severo managed to make a qualified save. Manguaça's players were relieved. Laranjo's Augusto Trancoso got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Róbson Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Carlos Vinhas kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. When Rony Tróia fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manguaça's protests and gave Rony Tróia a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Laranjo booed when Manguaça was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rony Tróia didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Afonsinho Faria was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Laranjo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Manguaça the free kick. A collision led to Laranjo getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Afonsinho Faria hit a great ball. Manguaça's Emmanuel Adebayo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 21st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Laranjo. The audience was convinced that Rafinha Munhoz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but William Severo was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Róbson Neto got free with Benjamim Severo in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Róbson Neto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benjamim Severo came out and tried to block the shot, but Róbson Neto slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute, Válbson Lopez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Laranjo's Róbson Neto in 31 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Benjamim Severo guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 33rd minute Augusto Trancoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamim Severo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Augusto Trancoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Róbson Neto scored 2-0 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benjamim Severo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 41 minutes into the match, Arnaldo Furlan notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Laranjo's William Severo. William Severo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arnaldo Furlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Rafinha Munhoz made the kick off in the second half. If Arnaldo Furlan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 59 minutes, Rafinha Munhoz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manguaça's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafinha Munhoz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benjamim Severo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Róbson Neto, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Rafinha Munhoz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Rafinha Munhoz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but William Severo was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Augusto Trancoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamim Severo having to interfere. William Severo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafinha Munhoz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Róbson Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When José Carlos Vinhas fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. When Augusto Trancoso came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Laranjo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Trancoso couldn't finish the play. Rafinha Munhoz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without William Severo having to make a save. In the 86th minute, Arnaldo Furlan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg William Severo managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Manguaça's Arnaldo Furlan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Benjamim Severo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Trancoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Laranjo's zone, José Carlos Vinhas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. William Severo came out of the goal and José Carlos Vinhas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Manguaça booed when Laranjo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mazinho Moura didn't get a good kick on the ball. Many of Manguaça's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Manguaça may have spent more time on the ball, but Laranjo were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
