Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Glauco Toscano kicked off to start the match. Armandinho Simão hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. If Marcus Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 8 played minutes, Inema SS's David Queiroz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Olavo Vianna came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Inema SS reached it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emílio Berger during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 9th minute, Emílio Berger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Didi Correia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Olavo Vianna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felippe Reis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcus Tavares went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Felippe Reis came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by JARDIM GUANABARA's Glauco Toscano. But to his dismay, Glauco Toscano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Olavo Vianna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Betinho Vides, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Júnior Breckenfeld during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. JARDIM GUANABARA's Marcus Tavares got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 39 minutes, Donato Fernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. JARDIM GUANABARA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donato Fernandez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcus Tavares struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Felippe Reis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JARDIM GUANABARA. Didi Correia who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Olavo Vianna when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Emílio Berger came free in the 45th minute and tried to tip the ball over Felippe Reis, but to the joy of Inema SS's supporters the ball went over. In the 48thth minute of the game Marcus Tavares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Inema SS's Felippe Reis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half JARDIM GUANABARA were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Betinho Vides made the kick off in the second half. Olavo Vianna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Betinho Vides in the 56th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Inema SS's zone, Emílio Berger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felippe Reis came out of the goal and Emílio Berger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcus Tavares's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Felippe Reis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Marcus Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Felippe Reis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 1-5 when Marcus Tavares sped through Inema SS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Felippe Reis. After 95 minutes, Beto Dias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Inema SS and the JARDIM GUANABARA players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th match minute, Inema SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beto Dias to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Marcus Tavares managed to get in a good position for a shot. JARDIM GUANABARA's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcus Tavares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felippe Reis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. JARDIM GUANABARA's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
