When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claudinho Urbano was the one to do the kick off. Lenílson de Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinho Urbano in the 64th minute of play forced Clube Atlético Riacho's goalkeeper Murilo Leal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clube Atlético Riacho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lenílson de Azevedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Clube Atlético Riacho had played much better football throughout.
