Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Paulo Proença took the kick off in the first half of the match. Magno Travassos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Proença, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. A collision led to Whoff S.C getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Rafa de Alcântara hit a great ball. In the 10th minute, Paulo Proença left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Amarantina SS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Magno Travassos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulysses Marquez in the 15th minute of the match. Ulysses Marquez hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. João Augusto Mendes kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Cláudio Messias came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Whoff S.C's Michel Moura. But to his dismay, Michel Moura quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 23rd match minute, Amarantina SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amauri Alvarenga to maneuver through the defense. Simão Souza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Cláudio Messias made a huge save. Despite close surveillance by the defense, Dedé Quadros managed to send off a shot that put the ball into the goal to the left of a disappointed goalkeeper. 2-1 in the 36th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Ulysses Marquez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Magno Travassos. Whoff S.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ulysses Marquez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Magno Travassos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amauri Alvarenga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Magno Travassos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amauri Alvarenga in the 46th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Simão Souza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55thth minute of the game Simão Souza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Amarantina SS's Cláudio Messias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 56th minute, Abel Sabóia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Magno Travassos was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Cleiton Proença. 62 minutes into the game, Paulo Proença recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Magno Travassos. Paulo Proença showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-3. After a rather tough play, Amarantina SS's Dé Couto got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute of the match Dedé Quadros shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cláudio Messias showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Magno Travassos was out of position in the 68 minute of play, and Paulo Proença capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Paulo Proença really showed his touch with that goal: 3-4. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Amauri Alvarenga took a quick shot and it went in 3-5 without a chance for Magno Travassos to make any attempt to save it. Paulo Proença received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Magno Travassos came out and tried to block the shot, but Paulo Proença slotted it home off the left post making it 3-6 in the 73rd minute. After 81 played minutes Whoff S.C got a freekick which was hit by João Augusto Mendes. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Simão Souza in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cláudio Messias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 87 played minutes Whoff S.C got a freekick which was hit by Michel Moura. In the 94th minute of the match, Paulo Proença tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Magno Travassos saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 95 minutes into the match, Amarantina SS's goal looked a bit too open when Simão Souza came free, but Cláudio Messias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Amarantina SS players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
