A collision led to Amarantina SS getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Dé Couto hit a great ball. Zé Roberto Trigo struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Cláudio Messias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Majuria EC. Dinei Amorim's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cláudio Messias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. Dinei Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Majuria EC's Reinaldo Sampaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Branco in the 17th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amauri Alvarenga in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reinaldo Sampaio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Paulo Proença put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Reinaldo Sampaio. Reinaldo Sampaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Proença in the 25th minute of the match. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Majuria EC's goalkeeper Reinaldo Sampaio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Majuria EC's Reinaldo Sampaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Proença in the 29th minute of play. When Amarantina SS's Erik Branco in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Majuria EC's goalie prevented a goal. Erik Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Reinaldo Sampaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Proença, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Reinaldo Sampaio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Proença in the 38th minute of play. Amadeu Paulista hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Reinaldo Sampaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Branco in the 44th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Proença in the 47th minute of play forced Majuria EC's goalkeeper Reinaldo Sampaio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 54th minute, Majuria EC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Paulo Proença fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Reinaldo Sampaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Proença in the 62nd minute of the match. Reinaldo Sampaio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Paulo Proença showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 67 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo Proença in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reinaldo Sampaio saved Majuria EC from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Amarantina SS's zone, Dinei Amorim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cláudio Messias came out of the goal and Dinei Amorim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Paulo Proença had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reinaldo Sampaio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Proença, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cauã Varela kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 92nd match minute, Majuria EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cauã Varela to maneuver through the defense. Amarantina SS's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
