Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Hugo Tavares took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a little luck, Jota P Assis's Betão Mendonça got control of the ball when Hamílton da Costa tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Gurgueia's zone, Célio Paraibano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fausto Arce came out of the goal and Célio Paraibano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamílton da Costa in the 7th minute of play forced Jota P Assis's goalkeeper Betão Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hugo Tavares in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fausto Arce prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fausto Arce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Célio Paraibano in the 13th minute of the match. Hugo Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Fausto Arce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fausto Arce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matheus Veiga in the 16th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Hugo Recife managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jota P Assis's supporters rose to their feet, but Hugo Recife was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fausto Arce breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Célio Dias's late challenge caught a Jota P Assis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Célio Dias helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Gurgueia getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Célio Dias hit a great ball. Hugo Recife recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th minute, Célio Paraibano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fausto Arce came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Jota P Assis's Célio Paraibano. But to his dismay, Célio Paraibano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 33 played minutes Jota P Assis got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Recife. After recieving a nice pass, Gurgueia's Vágner Rocha tried to score from far away in the 34th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Horácio Barros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Betão Mendonça made a huge save. In the 39th minute Hugo Tavares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Arce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Gurgueia fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 40th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Jota P Assis a penalty, 42 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Hugo Tavares, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Gurgueia's Fausto Arce. 0-3. Hugo Recife was shown his second yellow card after 44 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Jota P Assis's Hugo Recife got a free kick in the 45th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamílton da Costa in the 46th minute of play forced Jota P Assis's goalkeeper Betão Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 46 minutes of play, Gurgueia's Hamílton da Costa made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Betão Mendonça was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

When Serginho Cerezo came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Jota P Assis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serginho Cerezo couldn't finish the play. Wilton Netto hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. When Hugo Tavares came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Jota P Assis fans jumped to their feet. Célio Paraibano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matheus Veiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Arce having to interfere. Fausto Arce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Célio Paraibano in the 87th minute of the match. Serginho Cerezo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Arce having to interfere. In the 90th match minute, Gurgueia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Célio Dias to maneuver through the defense. Célio Paraibano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
