Romário Vieira's late challenge caught a Jota P Assis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Romário Vieira helped the player get up and apologised. In the 4th minute, Romário Vieira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 5th minute Jota P Assis were awarded a corner. Hugo Tavares went to the cornerflag to take it. Betão Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enéas das Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Jota P Assis booed when Luisiania EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maurinho Maciel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hugo Tavares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitinho de Sousa having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thiago Vides got free with Vitinho de Sousa in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 19th minute of the match, Hugo Tavares tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vitinho de Sousa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Matheus Veiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitinho de Sousa having to interfere. Hugo Tavares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Garcia in the 26th minute of play forced Jota P Assis's goalkeeper Betão Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Matheus Veiga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vitinho de Sousa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After some careless play in the Jota P Assis defense, Orlando Garcia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Betão Mendonça. The Jota P Assis fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Betão Mendonça should have stopped the shot. In the 39th minute Thiago Vides shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitinho de Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Tavares in the 41st minute of play forced Luisiania EC's goalkeeper Vitinho de Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Orlando Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Enéas das Neves made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Matheus Veiga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vitinho de Sousa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 60th minute Enéas das Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Betão Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Betão Mendonça made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orlando Garcia in the 64th minute. When Falcão Baiano came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Luisiania EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Falcão Baiano couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Jota P Assis's Thiago Vides got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute of the match Falcão Baiano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Betão Mendonça showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Vitinho de Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matheus Veiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Dalmo Moreno fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Luisiania EC's protests and gave Dalmo Moreno a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Jota P Assis booed when Luisiania EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmo Moreno didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Jota P Assis's Betão Mendonça got control of the ball when Enéas das Neves tried to sneak it across the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Jota P Assis's Serginho Cerezo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vitinho de Sousa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hugo Tavares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitinho de Sousa having to interfere. Luisiania EC's Vitinho de Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Célio Paraibano in the 88th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Luisiania EC's Maurinho Maciel got a free kick in the 96th minute. Jota P Assis were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
