Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Betão Araújo started the match with the kick off. Wilton Netto kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Júlio Vander blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fausto Arce having to make a save. When Diego Palmeira fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Micaelos F C's protests and gave Diego Palmeira a yellow card for diving instead. Diego Palmeira hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. When Betão Araújo came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Micaelos F C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Betão Araújo couldn't finish the play. In the 14thth minute of the game Betão Araújo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gurgueia's Fausto Arce was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Gurgueia getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Vágner Rocha hit a great ball. Nuno do Vale was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 20 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute, one of Micaelos F C:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Micaelos F C. After 24 minutes, Pedro Augusto Rodrigues mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Micaelos F C and the Gurgueia players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Micaelos F C getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Pedro Augusto Rodrigues hit a great ball. In the 27thth minute of the game Betão Araújo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gurgueia's Fausto Arce was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Horácio Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Betão Araújo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Betão Araújo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Fausto Arce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fausto Arce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Augusto Rodrigues in the 40th minute of the match. When Betão Araújo came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Micaelos F C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Betão Araújo couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Betão Araújo in the 48th minute of play forced Gurgueia's goalkeeper Fausto Arce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hamílton da Costa was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, one of Gurgueia:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Júlio Vander walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Betão Araújo sped through Gurgueia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fausto Arce. Micaelos F C's Richard Rezende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hamílton da Costa in the 61st minute of play. Pedro Augusto Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Arce having to interfere. Fausto Arce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Augusto Rodrigues in the 69th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Gurgueia's Hamílton da Costa got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 80th minute, Micaelos F C's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Luís Terra fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Betão Araújo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Betão Araújo in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fausto Arce saved Gurgueia from getting behind. Wilton Netto hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After having played for 94 minutes, Pedro Augusto Rodrigues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Micaelos F C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Augusto Rodrigues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 96 played minutes Micaelos F C got a freekick which was hit by Diego Palmeira. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vágner Rocha in the 97th minute of play forced Micaelos F C's goalkeeper Richard Rezende to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Micaelos F C were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Gurgueia to leave the ground with a draw.
