In the 4th minute, Hélio Souza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anísio Simões didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Indio's Josué Cavalcante shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Washington Valle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélio Souza in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Raposa's Sílvio Couto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Washington Valle narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Anísio Simões came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Indio's Josué Cavalcante. But to his dismay, Josué Cavalcante quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Dito Duarte hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Sílvio Couto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sílvio Couto made a kick off. The nice shot from Hélio Souza in the 51stth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Washington Valle had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. After 53 minutes, Laércio Fontes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Indio and the Raposa players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 53rd minute, Laércio Fontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Indio's Sandro Siqueira got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dagoberto Vides kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Hélio Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Raposa's zone, Sandro Siqueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anísio Simões came out of the goal and Sandro Siqueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Hélio Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafael Veloso kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Sandro Siqueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anísio Simões having to interfere. Josué Cavalcante took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anísio Simões. Anísio Simões dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Sílvio Couto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Washington Valle having to interfere. After having played for 93 minutes, Sílvio Couto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Raposa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sílvio Couto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hélio Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Washington Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sílvio Couto, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Washington Valle made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Hélio Souza sent off a good shot on target. For all the effort they put into the match, the Raposa players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Indio.
