Glauco Ribeiro charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Glauco Ribeiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Juraraita's Cláudio Sarmento couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 89th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Novaes SC. Novaes SC's Victor Maranhense got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Juraraita were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
