An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandrinho Bittencourt in the 19th minute of play forced Galo Azul's goalkeeper Duarte Lucas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Duarte Lucas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio Veloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Sandrinho Bittencourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of CF Black Mamba booed when Galo Azul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro Mota didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 26 played minutes, CF Black Mamba's Sandrinho Bittencourt shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Duarte Lucas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CF Black Mamba reached it. Cássio Veloso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Duarte Lucas having to make a save. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Galo Azul's goalkeeper Duarte Lucas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Duarte Lucas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Furtado in the 35th minute of play. CF Black Mamba's Filipe de Godoi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save CF Black Mamba from getting a goal against them. Filipe de Godoi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aílton Simão's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Matías Ramalho hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sandrinho Bittencourt in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Duarte Lucas saved Galo Azul from getting behind. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fernandão Loyola made a kick off. Filipe de Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raphael Romero in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th minute Fernandão Loyola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filipe de Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 67 minutes, Sandrinho Bittencourt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CF Black Mamba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sandrinho Bittencourt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of CF Black Mamba booed when Galo Azul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro Mota didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 73 played minutes, Galo Azul's Nelsinho Silveira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Filipe de Godoi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. In the 81st minute, Sandrinho Bittencourt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cássio Veloso might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Duarte Lucas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cássio Veloso ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Galo Azul booed when CF Black Mamba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Trevisan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Cássio Veloso managed to get in a good position for a shot. CF Black Mamba's supporters rose to their feet, but Cássio Veloso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Duarte Lucas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sandrinho Bittencourt in the 94thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Duarte Lucas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Duarte Lucas made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Igor Camargo sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. CF Black Mamba had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
