Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tarcisio Pombal started the match with the kick off. In the 7th match minute, Ativa Sport Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Costa to maneuver through the defense. Juan Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Olívio Dias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ediberto do Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute, José Prata got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas de Godoy in the 22nd minute of play forced Ativa Sport Club's goalkeeper Olívio Dias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oswaldo da Cunha took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olívio Dias. Olívio Dias dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Olívio Dias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tarcisio Pombal in the 27th minute of the match. Olívio Dias didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tarcisio Pombal went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The throw-in from Rubens Rocha in the 33rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Ativa Sport Club's Válter Bueno. Pedrão Leal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Zacarias Bittencourt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José Prata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacarias Bittencourt having to interfere. 45 minutes into the game, Francisco AD's Tarcisio Pombal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olívio Dias made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. The Ativa Sport Club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Francisco AD were winning 1-3.

When Oswaldo da Cunha fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Francisco AD's protests and gave Oswaldo da Cunha a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Francisco AD getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Oswaldo da Cunha hit a great ball. Pedrão Leal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Zacarias Bittencourt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Pedrão Leal sped through Francisco AD's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zacarias Bittencourt. If José Prata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedrão Leal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Zacarias Bittencourt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Pedrão Leal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ativa Sport Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. In the 95th minute, Pedrão Leal made a precise shot to the right of Zacarias Bittencourt. Francisco AD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-3.
