Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Engenho's Sílvio Luís Baptista started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Evandro da Silveira struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Toninho Leme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tabao. In the 4th minute Evandro da Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toninho Leme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 5 played minutes Engenho got a freekick which was hit by Vitinho Rezende. When Engenho's Sílvio Luís Baptista in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tabao's goalie prevented a goal. Toninho Leme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Léo Mendes, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Engenho's Toninho Leme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Léo Mendes in the 15th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Allan Trigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute, Sílvio Luís Baptista fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Luiz Fernando Meira, passed just outside the right post. A collision led to Tabao getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Sabino Moreno hit a great ball. Sílvio Luís Baptista was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 20th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Toninho Leme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Léo Mendes in the 22nd minute of the match. When André Luiz Brito, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 24 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Luiz Fernando Meira was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 25 minutes in the game, Sílvio Luís Baptista fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Luiz Fernando Meira having to interfere. Adelino Luz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Luiz Fernando Meira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adelino Luz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Luiz Fernando Meira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpected shot in the 34th minute by Sílvio Luís Baptista got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Vitinho Rezende received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Luiz Fernando Meira came out and tried to block the shot, but Vitinho Rezende slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 37th minute. André Luiz Brito came free with the goalkeeper in the 42nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Luiz Fernando Meira could save by the left post. Luiz Fernando Meira was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and André Luiz Brito capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. André Luiz Brito really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Manoel Vergílio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Léo Mendes made the kick off in the second half. If Igor Gerber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vitinho Rezende recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Adelino Luz sped through Tabao's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luiz Fernando Meira. Luiz Fernando Meira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sílvio Luís Baptista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luiz Fernando Meira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adelino Luz in the 67th minute of play. Luiz Fernando Meira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Luiz Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Durval Secco hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Adelino Luz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Luiz Fernando Meira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sílvio Luís Baptista took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luiz Fernando Meira. Luiz Fernando Meira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Luiz Fernando Meira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Luiz Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luiz Fernando Meira came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Engenho's Vitinho Rezende. But to his dismay, Vitinho Rezende quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, André Luiz Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Engenho's supporters rose to their feet, but André Luiz Brito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Fernando Meira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Adelino Luz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luiz Fernando Meira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Luiz Brito in the 86th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Tabao's goal looked a bit too open when André Luiz Brito came free, but Luiz Fernando Meira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Vitinho Rezende left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Engenho fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0.
