The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Carioca getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Bruno Arce sped through Carioca's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cauã Oliveira. 11 minutes into the match, Black Panther FC's goal looked a bit too open when Celsinho Sousa came free, but Zé Roberto Donato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Carioca's Celsinho Sousa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zé Roberto Donato narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Black Panther FC's Zé Roberto Donato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celsinho Sousa in the 19th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Carioca's Marcelo Seco got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 22ndth minute of the game Bruno Arce who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carioca's Cauã Oliveira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cauã Oliveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jânio Cordeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After having played for 29 minutes, Jânio Cordeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Black Panther FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jânio Cordeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zé Roberto Donato made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Franklin Santana sent off a good shot on target. Marcelo Seco hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bruno Arce in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cauã Oliveira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 39 minutes into the match, Carioca's goal looked a bit too open when Jânio Cordeiro came free, but Cauã Oliveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Franklin Santana's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Zé Roberto Donato firmly grabbed it by the left post. The referee gave Carioca a penalty, 59 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jarbas Lucas, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Black Panther FC's Zé Roberto Donato. 1-1.
