Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabinho Cearense in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clemente Gerber prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 15th match minute, Parangaba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emerson Chaves to maneuver through the defense. Tanner Kaiser made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Dracena in the 16th minute of play. The supporters of Parangaba FC booed when Fomento AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarbas Palmeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cauan Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Clemente Gerber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fomento AD's Clemente Gerber proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Fomento AD from getting a goal against them. 47 minutes into the match, Fomento AD's goal looked a bit too open when Fabinho Cearense came free, but Clemente Gerber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Parangaba FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Fomento AD to leave the ground with a draw.
