Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Edu Saldanha kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Piche SS's zone, Celso Cerezo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Afonsinho Urbano came out of the goal and Celso Cerezo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Celso Cerezo came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Crisopolis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celso Cerezo couldn't finish the play. If Juarês Quirino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Juarês Quirino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Afonsinho Urbano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celso Cerezo scored 1-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Afonsinho Urbano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Piche SS's Afonsinho Urbano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Piche SS from getting a goal against them. Afonsinho Urbano came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Crisopolis's Jerônimo Meira. But to his dismay, Jerônimo Meira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The supporters of Crisopolis booed when Piche SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edu Saldanha didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute José Maria de Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonsinho Urbano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Piche SS's Afonsinho Urbano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Piche SS from getting a goal against them. Jerônimo Meira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Afonsinho Urbano made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Crisopolis's Juarês Quirino slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Afonsinho Urbano. That made the score 3-0 after 35 minutes of play. Piche SS's Afonsinho Urbano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Piche SS from getting a goal against them. In the 42nd minute, Crisopolis's Juarês Quirino dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. If Celso Cerezo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
The wind increased when Celso Cerezo made the kick off in the second half. Afonsinho Urbano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Celso Cerezo went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Jerônimo Meira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Afonsinho Urbano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Crisopolis defense, Nelson de Queiroz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luisinho Pitta. The Crisopolis fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luisinho Pitta should have stopped the shot. Luisinho Pitta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edu Saldanha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Juarês Quirino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute, Lenílson Simões hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Piche SS's zone, José Maria de Salles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Crisopolis's Celso Cerezo got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Enéas Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juarês Quirino struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Afonsinho Urbano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Crisopolis. In the 79th match minute, Crisopolis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Maria de Salles to maneuver through the defense. After 80 played minutes Piche SS got a freekick which was hit by Lenílson Simões. After 83 minutes, Erik Figueiredo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Crisopolis and the Piche SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 83rd match minute, Crisopolis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erik Figueiredo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dito Cerezo in the 86th minute of play forced Crisopolis's goalkeeper Luisinho Pitta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Afonsinho Urbano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celso Cerezo in the 92nd minute of the match. Gilmar Lira's late challenge caught a Crisopolis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gilmar Lira helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th match minute, Piche SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilmar Lira to maneuver through the defense. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Crisopolis fully deserved thier win.
