Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Richard de Medeiros started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 6 minutes into the game, Dito Cerezo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Piche SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Teta FC the free kick. The supporters of Teta FC booed when Piche SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dito Cerezo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 8 minutes, Egídio Nascimento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Teta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Egídio Nascimento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard de Medeiros in the 9th minute of play forced Piche SS's goalkeeper Afonsinho Urbano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Richard de Medeiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Richard de Medeiros blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Afonsinho Urbano having to make a save. Egídio Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonsinho Urbano having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Piche SS's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Richard de Medeiros fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 20th minute, Nelson de Queiroz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antônio Carlos Toledo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Nelson de Queiroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Antônio Carlos Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Richard de Medeiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Piche SS were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edu Saldanha was the one to do the kick off. If Edu Saldanha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The attack was good, but when Richard de Medeiros in the 57th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After a rather tough play, Piche SS's Gilmar Lira got a free kick in the 59th minute. Danilo de Toledo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 60th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Egídio Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Afonsinho Urbano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 68 minutes, Sidney Correia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Teta FC and the Piche SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sidney Correia kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Nelson de Queiroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Antônio Carlos Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antônio Carlos Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edu Saldanha in the 76th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the game, one of Piche SS:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Afonsinho Urbano went to the wrong direction when Danilo de Toledo was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Piche SS's Afonsinho Urbano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Palmeira in the 89th minute of play. If Egídio Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Piche SS's Edu Saldanha was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 94th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 97 minutes into the game, Nelson de Queiroz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Antônio Carlos Toledo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Piche SS were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Teta FC's much stronger midfield.
