Pedrinho Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Paulo Tasso having to interfere. 10 minutes in the game, Pedrinho Fernandes fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Zé Paulo Tasso having to interfere. 12 minutes in the game, Fernandão Jacinto dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Fernandão Jacinto kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Giuseppe Brasil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute, Fernandão Jacinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Hugo Moura sped through Fortaleza's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Giuseppe Brasil. When Fernandão Jacinto fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fortaleza's protests and gave Fernandão Jacinto a yellow card for diving instead. Fernandão Jacinto hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Pedrinho Fernandes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Zé Paulo Tasso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernandão Jacinto in the 34th minute of play forced Roncadeira's goalkeeper Zé Paulo Tasso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo Moura struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Giuseppe Brasil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Roncadeira. Oséas Dionísio kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Válter Abraão made a precise shot to the right of Giuseppe Brasil. Fortaleza's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After the first half Roncadeira were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fernandão Jacinto to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Roncadeira defense, Fernandão Jacinto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zé Paulo Tasso. The Roncadeira fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zé Paulo Tasso should have stopped the shot. In the 67th minute, Fernandão Jacinto made a precise shot to the right of Zé Paulo Tasso. Roncadeira's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. After 71 minutes of play, Fortaleza's Pedrinho Fernandes made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zé Paulo Tasso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alessandro Arantes hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. If Fernandão Jacinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Válter Abraão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Giuseppe Brasil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Fortaleza's Oséas Dionísio got a free kick in the 87th minute. If Válter Abraão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Giuseppe Brasil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Válter Abraão in the 91st minute of the match. Fernandão Jacinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Zé Paulo Tasso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fortaleza's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
