Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Marmelada SC's Ricardinho Figueiredo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anísio Silveira during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 3rd minute, Anísio Silveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 5thth minute of the game Mané do Valle who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marmelada SC's Arí Simões was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tarcisio Hoffmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marmelada SC's Delfim Cunha shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 13th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Walmir Ortiz but with some difficulty. When Manuel de Queirós fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marmelada SC's protests and gave Manuel de Queirós a yellow card for diving instead. Manuel de Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute of the match Robinho Carvalho sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arí Simões skillfully saved the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mané do Valle in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arí Simões prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Tarcisio Hoffmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arí Simões stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mané do Valle's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. If Mané do Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute of the match Anísio Linhares shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arí Simões showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 33 played minutes Viadutos FC got a freekick which was hit by Waldir Hoffmann. In the 34th minute of the match, Tarcisio Hoffmann got a very nice opportunity to score, but Walmir Ortiz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 35 minutes into the game, Mané do Valle cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Arí Simões was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Edmílson Vargas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Arí Simões tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Waldir Hoffmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Tarcisio Hoffmann came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Marmelada SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tarcisio Hoffmann couldn't finish the play. Walmir Ortiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardinho Figueiredo in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, Marmelada SC's Manuel de Queirós got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Arí Simões acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 54th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Daniel Luz. Walmir Ortiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tarcisio Hoffmann in the 55th minute of the match. Walmir Ortiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tarcisio Hoffmann in the 56th minute of play. A hard shot by Kléber Pereira from long distance, 58 minutes into the match, got Arí Simões's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Leandro de Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. The long shot by Daniel Luz in the 60th minute really tested Arí Simões's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Mané do Valle's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, Arí Simões skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Arí Simões made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mané do Valle in the 69th minute. When Manuel de Queirós was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 70 minutes had been played. Mané do Valle made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 75thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Arí Simões would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Leandro de Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Mané do Valles short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Arí Simões to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Viadutos FC's Walmir Ortiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tarcisio Hoffmann in the 81st minute of play. The supporters of Marmelada SC booed when Viadutos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Luz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes into the game, Tarcisio Hoffmann cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Walmir Ortiz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmílson Vargas in the 96th minute of play forced Marmelada SC's goalkeeper Arí Simões to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 96 minutes, Natã Neiva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marmelada SC and the Viadutos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Viadutos FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Marmelada SC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
