Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Elder Barbosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. CENTER FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Elder Barbosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stig-Arne Nyström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 3rd match minute, FC Xmem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedrão Dante to maneuver through the defense. Maurinho Brasil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 10 minutes into the game, Pedrinho Maranhense was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Xmem's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CENTER FC the free kick. In the 10th minute, Pedrinho Maranhense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute Elder Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig-Arne Nyström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stig-Arne Nyström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurinho Brasil in the 12th minute of play. Clemente Mazza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amauri Leite having to interfere. Lino Rosado kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Fernando Severo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Amauri Leite. CENTER FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Stig-Arne Nyström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elder Barbosa in the 20th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as CENTER FC's Elder Barbosa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Stig-Arne Nyström. That made the score 1-0 after 25 minutes of play. The supporters of CENTER FC booed when FC Xmem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemente Mazza didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Maurinho Brasil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elder Barbosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig-Arne Nyström having to interfere. 43 minutes into the game, Caio Sanches cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Amauri Leite was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, FC Xmem's Luís Fernando Paiva got a free kick in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elder Barbosa to strike the kick off in the second half. Faustão Schmidt made a great header on CENTER FC's corner, it was just that FC Xmem's Stig-Arne Nyström managed to reach the ball for a save. Maurinho Brasil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 68th minute, Samuca Mendes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute, Clemente Mazza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amauri Leite was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Amauri Lopez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig-Arne Nyström having to interfere. Stig-Arne Nyström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elder Barbosa in the 77th minute of the match. Amauri Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Mazza in the 79th minute of play. With 81 minutes on the clock, Eliézer Prestes commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 81st minute, one of CENTER FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CENTER FC. In the 87th match minute, CENTER FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustão Schmidt to maneuver through the defense. Leandro Pernambucano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amauri Leite read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Samuca Mendes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig-Arne Nyström having to interfere. After having played for 97 minutes, Maurinho Brasil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CENTER FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maurinho Brasil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
