Luiz Guilherme Brasil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adelino Simão in the 17th minute of play. Luiz Guilherme Brasil was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Adelino Simão showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 23 minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silvério Mendes to make the kick off.
