Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Elói de Toledo started the match with the kick off. Anselmo Freire kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. 4 minutes in the game, Elói de Toledo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Dinei Vieira having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, João Paraíba managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Athletic Warszaw's supporters rose to their feet, but João Paraíba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dinei Vieira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adelino Godoi struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Dinei Vieira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Athletic Warszaw. A collision led to Club Athletic Warszaw getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Adelino Godoi hit a great ball. When Gonçalo de Senna fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Athletic Warszaw's protests and gave Gonçalo de Senna a yellow card for diving instead. After 17 played minutes Club Athletic Warszaw got a freekick which was hit by Gonçalo de Senna. After 20 minutes, Elói de Toledo made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Tapa's Dinei Vieira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Miroslaw Maurycy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Custódio Oliveira in the 25th minute of the match. Miroslaw Maurycy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ademir Couto, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. A collision led to Tapa getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Armindo Valladares hit a great ball. After 36 minutes, João Paraíba mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Athletic Warszaw and the Tapa players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 36th minute, João Paraíba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute of the match Anselmo Freire shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Miroslaw Maurycy showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Elói de Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Dinei Vieira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elói de Toledo might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dinei Vieira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elói de Toledo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 46th minute Custódio Oliveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miroslaw Maurycy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ramón Pereira might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Miroslaw Maurycy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ramón Pereira ran back to his position shaking his head. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Custódio Oliveira was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Fernando Recife in the 52nd minute of play forced Tapa's goalkeeper Dinei Vieira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dinei Vieira came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Athletic Warszaw's Luiz Fernando Recife. But to his dismay, Luiz Fernando Recife quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tapa's goalkeeper Dinei Vieira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marcelo Porto kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Club Athletic Warszaw's Oswaldo Veloso got a free kick in the 65th minute. Elói de Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Dinei Vieira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Custódio Oliveira in the 73rd minute of play forced Club Athletic Warszaw's goalkeeper Miroslaw Maurycy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Paraíba hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Oswaldo Veloso was shown his second yellow card after 76 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Oswaldo Veloso kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After 80 minutes, Elói de Toledo made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Tapa's Dinei Vieira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Elói de Toledo came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Club Athletic Warszaw fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elói de Toledo couldn't finish the play. After having played for 88 minutes, Elói de Toledo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Athletic Warszaw's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elói de Toledo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Club Athletic Warszaw's Elói de Toledo managed to work through Tapa's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Elói de Toledo dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. If João Paraíba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Club Athletic Warszaw's Elói de Toledo in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tapa's goalie prevented a goal. Club Athletic Warszaw's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
