Luizão Amorim hit a great ball. Enrique Simão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Naldo Corrêa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the match, Cururupe's goal looked a bit too open when Geovanni Borges came free, but Frank de Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Sacramento players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
