Noel Teles might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Olavo de Godoy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Noel Teles ran back to his position shaking his head. Ronaldo de Souza in the 8thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cauan Meirelles, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Leonel Moraes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cauan Meirelles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Apiahy's zone, Noel Teles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olavo de Godoy came out of the goal and Noel Teles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonel Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonel Moraes hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ruy Falcão during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Arraias FC's Ruy Falcão got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Ruy Falcão hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Dinei Mota took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cauan Meirelles. Arraias FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Wesley Terra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arraias FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Wesley Terra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olavo de Godoy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 48th match minute, Arraias FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vágner Leão to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonel Moraes to make the kick off. Leonel Moraes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Arraias FC's zone, Ronaldo de Souza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cauan Meirelles came out of the goal and Ronaldo de Souza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 57 minutes into the match, Arraias FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eriberto de Medeiros came free, but Cauan Meirelles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute, Leonel Moraes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cauan Meirelles was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. If Wesley Terra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Apiahy's Olavo de Godoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noel Teles in the 66th minute of play. Olavo de Godoy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wesley Terra went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Wesley Terra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Olavo de Godoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olavo de Godoy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wesley Terra in the 78th minute. A well placed Noel Teles short distance shot in the 81st minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. In the 84th minute Leonel Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cauan Meirelles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronaldo de Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute, Wesley Terra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olavo de Godoy was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Ronaldo de Souza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Arraias FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
