Carlos Secco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gugu da Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Gugu da Cunha received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Carlos Secco came out and tried to block the shot, but Gugu da Cunha slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 15th minute. With a little luck, E C JUVENTUDE's Carlos Secco got control of the ball when Ricardo Valle tried to sneak it across the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, one of E C JUVENTUDE:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a long run with the ball, Luís Netto did a trick in the 21st minute in front of E C JUVENTUDE's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 3-1. An impressive performance by Lustosa's Luís Netto! A collision led to Lustosa getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Giovanni Damião hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Segundo Romero managed to get in a good position for a shot. E C JUVENTUDE's supporters rose to their feet, but Segundo Romero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juninho Lima breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 38 played minutes Lustosa got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Valle. 42 minutes into the match, E C JUVENTUDE's goalkeeper Carlos Secco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricardo Valle.

Gugu da Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Carlos Secco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Segundo Romero kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Juninho Lima. That made the score 3-2 in the 57 minute of play. Juninho Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Segundo Romero in the 60th minute of play. In the 63rd match minute, E C JUVENTUDE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Siqueira to maneuver through the defense. Segundo Romero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juninho Lima having to interfere. With a little luck, Lustosa's Juninho Lima got control of the ball when Çağrı Zübeyr tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Segundo Romero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. E C JUVENTUDE's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by José Secco in the 77th minute. Carlos Secco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Çağrı Zübeyr got free with Juninho Lima in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
