Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sidney Vaz ran back to his position shaking his head. Donato Custódios short, quick shot in the 10thth minute got Manuel Paranaense to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Manuel Paranaense was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Donato Custódio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Donato Custódio really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. If Chico Veloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 23 minutes into the match, Uacurizal EC's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Custódio came free, but Manuel Paranaense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, Ademar Netto had to leave the field with a concussion. 24 minutes into the game, Tiago Mangueira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uacurizal EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mensageiros da paz the free kick. With a little luck, Uacurizal EC's Manuel Paranaense got control of the ball when Sidney Almeida tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 31st minute Sidney Vaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Breno Marinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Paranaense made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Sidney Almeida sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, João Francisco Peixoto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mensageiros da paz's supporters rose to their feet, but João Francisco Peixoto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Paranaense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Sidney Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 38th minute, but Manuel Paranaense got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Uacurizal EC hanging dry this time. Sidney Almeida didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 2-0 via right post in the game's 42nd minute. Mensageiros da paz's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement!

In the 52nd minute, Donato Custódio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olívio Soares struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Manuel Paranaense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mensageiros da paz. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Uacurizal EC's goalkeeper Manuel Paranaense, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Mensageiros da paz getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Nildo Albuquerque hit a great ball. Chico Veloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Sidney Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mensageiros da paz's supporters rose to their feet, but Sidney Almeida was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Paranaense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 69 minutes, Donato Custódio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mensageiros da paz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donato Custódio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mensageiros da paz's attack was well implemented in the 71st minute, but when Sidney Almeida was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. 72 minutes into the game, Mensageiros da paz's Donato Custódio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Manuel Paranaense made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Donato Custódio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Manuel Paranaense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sidney Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute, Olívio Soares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 95th match minute, Uacurizal EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chico Veloso to maneuver through the defense. When the referee ended the match the Mensageiros da paz players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
