If Abelardo França had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Justinopolis AD getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Percy de Amaral hit a great ball. Váldson de Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tiaguinho Neves's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Váldson de Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abelardo França, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Justinopolis AD's Agenor Antunes got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Váldson de Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiaguinho Neves in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Almir Bueno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Beto Viana. TOT UNITD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Almir Bueno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After a rather tough play, TOT UNITD's Abelardo França got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 33rd match minute, TOT UNITD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zézinho Rodrigues to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Tiaguinho Neves sped through Justinopolis AD's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Váldson de Amorim. A collision led to TOT UNITD getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Wágner Tasso hit a great ball. In the 44th minute Abelardo França shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Váldson de Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, TOT UNITD's Zézinho Rodrigues got a free kick in the 47th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tiaguinho Neves to make the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Abelardo França managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TOT UNITD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abelardo França was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 53 minutes into the match, TOT UNITD's Abelardo França sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Váldson de Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Beto Viana came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Justinopolis AD's Almir Bueno. But to his dismay, Almir Bueno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Abelardo França kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Tiaguinho Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Váldson de Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When TOT UNITD's Tiaguinho Neves in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Justinopolis AD's goalie prevented a goal. If Abelardo França had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the match, Justinopolis AD's goal looked a bit too open when Tiaguinho Neves came free, but Váldson de Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abelardo França might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Váldson de Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abelardo França ran back to his position shaking his head. Alexsandro Teles kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Almir Bueno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Justinopolis AD's Váldson de Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Justinopolis AD from getting a goal against them. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Justinopolis AD were victorious despite being under pressure from TOT UNITD for much of the match.
