The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Davi Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Vítor Netto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luisão Paes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cláudio Abreu having to interfere. João Pedro Furlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisão Paes in the 18th minute of play forced Canarama FC's goalkeeper Cláudio Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luisão Paes scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cláudio Abreu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 22 minutes into the match, Luisão Paes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cláudio Abreu. Canarama FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luisão Paes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. When Luisão Paes fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored IDEAL KINDIIN CLUB's protests and gave Luisão Paes a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Canarama FC booed when IDEAL KINDIIN CLUB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luisão Paes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelinho Neiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Songurbey Uluşahin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Songurbey Uluşahin made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Davi Duarte sent off a good shot on target. If Luisão Paes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. In the 36th minute Américo Corrêa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Songurbey Uluşahin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cláudio Abreu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Pedro Furlan, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guga Brito in the 38th minute of play forced Canarama FC's goalkeeper Cláudio Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Songurbey Uluşahin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelinho Neiva in the 46th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ivo Dias during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 47th minute, Ivo Dias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcelinho Neiva stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Canarama FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Guga Brito 56 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. 61 minutes into the match, Canarama FC's goal looked a bit too open when José Vítor Netto came free, but Cláudio Abreu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Canarama FC's goalkeeper Cláudio Abreu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 63rd minute, João Pedro Furlan made a precise shot to the right of Cláudio Abreu. Canarama FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. 69 minutes into the match, Guga Brito dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cláudio Abreu, 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelinho Neiva in the 74th minute of play forced IDEAL KINDIIN CLUB's goalkeeper Songurbey Uluşahin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 78 minutes, Cláudio Abreu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 80th minute, IDEAL KINDIIN CLUB's Luisão Paes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cláudio Abreu. Cláudio Abreu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 83rd minute of the game. One of Canarama FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of IDEAL KINDIIN CLUB:s goal. Cláudio Abreu went to the wrong direction when Guga Brito was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Guga Brito kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cláudio Abreu. That made the score 0-7 in the 86 minute of play. In the 89th minute, Lucas de Lima fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. A collision led to Canarama FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Américo Corrêa hit a great ball. Guga Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cláudio Abreu having to interfere. Luisão Paes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 95 in the game by José Vítor Netto from a close distance when the talented Cláudio Abreu managed to make a qualified save. Canarama FC's players were relieved. José Vítor Netto struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Cláudio Abreu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IDEAL KINDIIN CLUB.
