Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Marcelinho Neiva made the kick off and thus started the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enio Leme during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 4th minute Davi Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitório Faria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Davi Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 7 played minutes Amapa got a freekick which was hit by Enio Leme. After a rather tough play, Amapa's Enio Leme got a free kick in the 11th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Canarama FC's Kiko Queirós tried to score from far away in the 12th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Canarama FC's goalkeeper Cláudio Abreu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cláudio Abreu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís da Silveira in the 16th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís da Silveira in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cláudio Abreu saved Canarama FC from getting behind. When Amapa's Luís da Silveira in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Canarama FC's goalie prevented a goal. Cláudio Abreu came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Amapa's Luís da Silveira. But to his dismay, Luís da Silveira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 36 minutes into the game, Tony Rodrigues was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Amapa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Canarama FC the free kick. The supporters of Canarama FC booed when Amapa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tony Rodrigues didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vitório Faria acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 37th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Kiko Queirós. Marcelinho Neiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitório Faria having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Marcelinho Neiva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canarama FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelinho Neiva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vitório Faria breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vitório Faria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelinho Neiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luís da Silveira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cláudio Abreu made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Ronaldo Salgado sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Marcelinho Neiva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vitório Faria was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Canarama FC's zone, Ronaldo Salgado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cláudio Abreu came out of the goal and Ronaldo Salgado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luís da Silveira got free with Cláudio Abreu in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 74 minutes, Ronaldo Salgado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Amapa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronaldo Salgado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Canarama FC's Cláudio Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís da Silveira in the 76th minute of play. Cláudio Abreu made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Ronaldo Salgado sent off a good shot on target. Luís Gustavo Saldanha's shot from long distance in the 83rd minute was not bad at all, but Canarama FC's Cláudio Abreu knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Luís da Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Cláudio Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87thth minute of the game Luís da Silveira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Canarama FC's Cláudio Abreu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cláudio Abreu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ronaldo Salgado in the 90th minute. When Nestor Maranhense fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Canarama FC's protests and gave Nestor Maranhense a yellow card for diving instead.
