Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Renato Barros kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute, Dalmo de Queiroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gilvan Vergílio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tadeu Campidelis in the 7th minute. Tadeu Campidelis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Geovanni Zonta during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tadeu Campidelis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Gilvan Vergílio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some careless play in the Papucu defense, Renato Barros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Giovani Melo. The Papucu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Giovani Melo should have stopped the shot. Glyceria's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Emílio Abraão scored to the left of an out of position Gilvan Vergílio, making the score, 1-1. In the 39th minute, Glyceria's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tadeu Campidelis fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emílio Abraão made a kick off. Papucu's Giovani Melo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Papucu from getting a goal against them. Tadeu Campidelis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gilvan Vergílio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emílio Abraão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Giovani Melo made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Dênis Ceresso sent off a good shot on target. Dênis Ceresso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Papucu's José Vítor Valladares got a free kick in the 66th minute. Renato Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giovani Melo having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Glyceria's zone, Tadeu Campidelis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilvan Vergílio came out of the goal and Tadeu Campidelis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Glyceria booed when Papucu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renan Sarmento didn't get a good kick on the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Dênis Ceresso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Giovani Melo. Papucu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dênis Ceresso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Basílio Nunes was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 84 minutes into the match. After 83 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Papucu! In the 86th minute there was a penalty for Glyceria. Jânio Teixeira stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Giovani Melo. 1-3. Jânio Teixeira charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jânio Teixeira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Glyceria's Jânio Teixeira got a free kick in the 88th minute. Emerson Pimenta's late challenge caught a Papucu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emerson Pimenta helped the player get up and apologised. Emerson Pimenta hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. A collision led to Glyceria getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Fernando Ramalho hit a great ball. The Papucu supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Glyceria's performance. The match ended with a win for Glyceria.
