Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Dino Brito made the kick off which started today's match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frédson Medeiros in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cauã Saldanha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 6th minute, Cassino's Dino Brito ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Germano Couto. Germano Couto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. If Dino Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cauã Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dida Lara in the 17th minute of play. Cauã Saldanha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raphael Koehler in the 19th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Cassino's goal looked a bit too open when Dito de Mendonça came free, but Cauã Saldanha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Dito de Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cauã Saldanha came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Piacaba's Dida Lara. But to his dismay, Dida Lara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 29 minutes, Edvaldo Moreira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cassino and the Piacaba players grew even worse after the yellow card. Edvaldo Moreira hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After having played for 35 minutes, Dida Lara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piacaba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dida Lara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dito de Mendonça's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cauã Saldanha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Cauã Saldanha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dito de Mendonça's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Dino Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Germano Couto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dito de Mendonça to strike the kick off in the second half. Luiz Gustavo Messias hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Dino Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Germano Couto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes into the game, Piacaba's Dito de Mendonça nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cauã Saldanha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. 66 minutes into the match, Cassino's goal looked a bit too open when Dito de Mendonça came free, but Cauã Saldanha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cassino's Luiz Gustavo Messias got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 72nd minute, Dito de Mendonça made a precise shot to the right of Cauã Saldanha. Cassino's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Dito de Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Cauã Saldanha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Cassino's zone, Dito de Mendonça stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cauã Saldanha came out of the goal and Dito de Mendonça tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Piacaba's Dito de Mendonça slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cauã Saldanha. That made the score 1-4 after 85 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dito de Mendonça in the 90th minute of play forced Cassino's goalkeeper Cauã Saldanha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Luiz Gustavo Messias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute Piacaba were awarded a corner.
