Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rodrigo do Vale started the match with the kick off. Serafim Linares kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Erik Almeida came free in the 16th minute and tried to tip the ball over André Luiz Mattos, but to the joy of Paiquere SC's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. Pedrinho Hames's late challenge caught a Mutum SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedrinho Hames helped the player get up and apologised. Pedrinho Hames kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. When Pedrinho Hames was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 20 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Paiquere SC's Pedrinho Hames got a free kick in the 21st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonel Lima got free with André Luiz Mattos in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Washington do Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natã Severo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 32 minutes, Natã Severo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paiquere SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Natã Severo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Natã Severo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Washington do Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sandro Massa charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sandro Massa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 35th minute, Sandro Massa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonel Lima could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but André Luiz Mattos made a huge save. The supporters of Mutum SS booed when Paiquere SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jardel Neiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paiquere SC's André Luiz Mattos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Toledo in the 43rd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Mutum SS's Leonel Lima sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that André Luiz Mattos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Jaime Toledo made the kick off in the second half. André Luiz Mattos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jaime Toledo went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Natã Severo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 55thth minute, Washington do Nascimento skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 61 minutes of play, Mutum SS's Leonel Lima made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. André Luiz Mattos was left in no man's land by his defense there! 65 minutes into the game, Mutum SS's Leonel Lima nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. André Luiz Mattos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. The audience was convinced that Jaime Toledo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but André Luiz Mattos was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Lima in the 84th minute of play forced Paiquere SC's goalkeeper André Luiz Mattos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonel Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Luiz Mattos having to interfere. With a little luck, Mutum SS's Washington do Nascimento got control of the ball when Natã Severo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mutum SS's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
