Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Quirino's Conrado Prestes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th match minute, Cacheiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Tande to maneuver through the defense. Cacheiro FC were furious when Jacinto Tande was red carded, 9 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cacheiro FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 9th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 11 minutes, Quirino's Alan Lara got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Celso Fernandez. 17 minutes into the game, Emerson Motta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quirino's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cacheiro FC the free kick. The supporters of Cacheiro FC booed when Quirino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emerson Motta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cesinha Valladares hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute of the match, Conrado Prestes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Celso Fernandez saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Celso Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conrado Prestes, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Celso Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvério Tavares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute Paulo Renato Ortiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giovani Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Cacheiro FC's Celso Fernandez got control of the ball when Silvério Tavares tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 37 minutes, Percival Favoretto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cacheiro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Percival Favoretto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 38 minutes into the game, Elias Sá was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quirino's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cacheiro FC the free kick. Silvério Tavares blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Celso Fernandez having to make a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 53rd minute Conrado Prestes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 56 played minutes Quirino got a freekick which was hit by Alan Lara. Paulo Renato Ortiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giovani Medeiros having to interfere. Quirino's Giovani Medeiros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Quirino from getting a goal against them. Paulo Renato Ortiz struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Giovani Medeiros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cacheiro FC. After a defensive mix-up in Quirino's zone, Paulo Renato Ortiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giovani Medeiros came out of the goal and Paulo Renato Ortiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paulo Renato Ortiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giovani Medeiros having to interfere. Paulo Renato Ortiz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Giovani Medeiros was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Paulo Renato Ortiz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 95 minute of play. The Quirino players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
